JUBILEE MANDARIN BENJAMIN WASHIALI DECEIVED MUMIAS FARMERS

Benjamin Washiali the major Jubilee mandarin in Mumias is at the heart of the sugar crisis that has befallen farmers. While he has tried to shift blame over the years to Dr. Evans Kidero, farmers still remember him for asking them to uproot sugarcane. He is also at the heart of policies that allowed for sugar poaching between companies destroying the availability of raw material.
This was part of a strategy to facilitate Deputy President William Ruto’s commodity business when he became interested in the importation of sugar into the country from the time he was the Agriculture minister where NASA principle Raila Odinga suspended him due to corruption allegations.
Recently Washiali was on record admitting that campaigning for Jubilee in Western is impossible because the administration has not delivered on its promises in Webuye and Mumias. Also the traditional Maragoli-Bukusu rivalry is dead with the new team work between Hon. Musalia Mudavadi and Senator Moses Wetangula in the National Super Alliance (NASA).

It has therefore consolidated the Luhya community vote more than any other time in the post-1992 era. Lastly, the murder of upcoming business luminaries like Jacob Juma and diligent Mumias Sugar employees like Ronald Lubya has caused serious anger against Jubilee from within the former Western province region.

Vivo Management Still Panicking about Jeopardized Brand

While there has been pomp and fanfare over the selection of Polycarp Igathe as the running mate for Senator Mike Sonko’s gubernatorial bid, Vivo Energy is suffering immediate brand backlash following the stunt Sonko pulled of visiting its offices to introduce his choice for deputy governor. In a letter dated Tuesday May 16 to the staff members at Vivo Energy, Polycarp Igathe stated: "I have been invited by the Jubilee Party to stand alongside Hon. KIDERO TOURS DAGORETTI SOUTH By- Rachael Matayen With only 26 days to go to the long awaited August 8 polls Dr. Evans Kidero yesterday toured Dagoretti South to strengthen their roots. Dagoretti south is one of the constituencies in Nairobi county which is not a strong hold for either of the two NASA and Jubilee parties.
