NDEGWA MUHORO ASKS DPP. TOBIKO TO INVESTIGATE FRANCIS MUREITHI FOR THEFT

DCI boss Ndegwa Muhoro has asked DPP keriako Tobiko to investigate speedily and present Francis Mureithi to court over a fraud case in which Mureithi stole ksh. 6 million from a widow by the name Millicent Akelo. "Mureithi conned me ksh. 6 million and has been thteatening me ever since i reported the matter to mlolongo police station.I decided to report the matter to DCI headquarters after Mureithi bribed OCPD mlolongo." remarked Mrs Akelo.
This is the second time DCI boss Ndegwa Muhoro will be asking DPP Tobiko to investigate Mureithi. Last year DCI wrote to DPP over mureithi's involvement in NYS multi-million scandal also touching on former Devolution minister Anne Waiguru. Under waiguru's orders mureithi was awarded a tender of ksh. 110 million to supply generators. He pocketed the money and delivered nothing.Mureithi later partnered with his cousin Kabura the salonist to squander ksh. 70 million of NYS money meant for NYS uniforms. In light of such mega corruption schemes, Ndegwa Muhoro led a team of officers and raided Mureithi's Kilimani home on December 13 2016 where fake currency, counterfeit goods and pornographic paraphernalia were confiscated.
Earlier this year, residents of Embakasi East donholm, greenspan, utawala, fedha and tassia estates demonstrated and protested against corruption cartels that vandalize city council water tanks and pipes that carry water to their estates. The cartels have for a long time created shortage of water in Embakasi East constituency by blocking and vandalizing pipes and tanks. The cartels then profit by selling water to residents.During the protest, one name kept coming up.That of Francis Mureithi.Embakasi Residents directly linked him and his company to their water problems.
We hope DPP will move with speed and arraign Francis Mureithi in court to face charges of corruption, fraud and willful destruction of public property.
